Internal Epoxy Liquid Spray Coating Line for steel pipe corrosion protection with external 3LPE shot blasting
The integrated 3LPE pipe coating line—featuring shot blasting, internal liquid epoxy spraying, and a curing process—forms a highly efficient corrosion protection system for steel pipes.
The external three-layer polyethylene (3LPE) coating employs a multi-stage composite design. It starts with a fusion-bonded epoxy powder base layer that provides essential corrosion inhibition. A specialized copolymer adhesive is then applied to ensure durable interlayer bonding, followed by an outer polyethylene sheath that delivers strong mechanical protection and sustained resistance to environmental exposure.
For internal protection, a liquid epoxy coating is spray-applied to the pipe interior. This lining exhibits excellent adhesion and outstanding chemical resistance, effectively preventing corrosion caused by transported substances including oil, natural gas, and water.
This dual-sided coating approach is widely used in oil and gas transmission pipelines, water supply networks, and drainage systems. It substantially extends the operational lifespan of pipelines while enhancing their reliability.
